Come enjoy the day at beautiful Lake Cahuilla Veterans Regional Park for the 6th Annual Youth Fishing Clinic! The clinic will take place on Saturday, February 11, from 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM. It is designed for all levels of youth fishing starting with beginners on up. Parents and guardians are encouraged to help, but fishing at this event is for the kids only.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife provides instruction & bait, and will have loaner fishing gear available on a first-come first-served basis for those who need it. Guests are welcome to bring their own gear too. We will have special raffle prize drawings at the end of the event.
The clinic is FREE to kids ages 3-15 years old. Parents and guardians bringing kids in are also admitted free. Lake Cahuilla is located at 58075 Jefferson Street in La Quinta. Volunteers age 14 and older please email parks-volunteers@rivco.org.
