An event every 2 weeks that begins at 3:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until December 31, 2020
Are you a young Maker between the ages of 7-13 that completed one of our MakerSpace Camps on 3D Printing? Would you like to print your files for your own inventions, class projects, or just for fun?
The Creation Station now offers the After School Printers program, where every other Thursday Young Makers can reserve one of two available 3D printers to print out their own files or projects. Technicians will be on hand to assist with the technical questions and loading the machine.
Limited spaces are available on a first come basis where the Maker’s name will be added to a waiting list. At the time of sign-up, please let us know if it is a small or large print file. On the Wednesday before, we will contact those next in the queue about their assigned printer. Participants are not required to stay while their file is printing, you may come back on another day to pick up the completed print.
There will be a materials fee based on the total weight of the print file ($12.50 per pound). If you would like to use your own material, the Creation Station staff recommends MH Build 1.75mm PLA from Matterhackers.com.
Feel free to contact us with any questions about the program.
