Veteran Los Angeles, CA musicians pay homage to the eclectic music of the legendary Dave Matthews Band. Recreating their energetic improvisatory blend of rock, jazz, funk, jam, and world music, Fake Matthews Band celebrate the original’s famous live shows with joyful abandon. Replicating the stellar musicianship of the acclaimed Grammy Award winning band that has topped 25 million in sales, fans are treated to classic hits such as What Would You Say, Crash Into Me, Ant’s Marching and more but they also enjoy deep dives into the band’s extensive catalog, jamming to whatever impromptu selections strikes their fancy. The result is a highly entertaining, in the moment, musical journey that will have both casual and hardcore fans up on their feet. The band consists of: Genji Nakano – Vocals/Acoustic Guitar; Larry “Boody” Boodman – Drums; Rick Zaccaro – Bass; Elise Carver – Violin; Will Vargas – Winds; and Evan Michael – Guitar.
