Bring your chairs or blankets and join the City of La Quinta for Concerts in the Park at SilverRock Park on Saturday, May 6, from 7 to 9 p.m.! The musical guest this month is L.A.vation, an authentic U2 tribute band.
Based in Los Angeles, California, L.A.vation derives its name from the hit song “Elevation,” the third single released from U2’s 2000 album, All That You Can’t Leave Behind. L.A.vation has faithfully crafted an amazingly accurate show, incorporating memorable stage elements from past U2 concerts with “spot-on” musical execution, all the while emphasizing the pride and passion of the four lads from Dublin.
Lead by Patrick Boudreaux as BONO, this quartet has left no stone unturned to deliver the most accurate Tribute to U2, the greatest rock and roll band of its generation! Along with Bart Davis, who recreates the tech guitar wizardry of “The Edge”, bassist Mikey Hachey supplies the melodic low end of Adam Clayton. And true to his real-life counterpart, Larry Mullen Jr., drummer/music director Jorgen Ingmar Alofs provides the heart, soul and attention to detail that makes L.A.vation unrivaled, except perhaps by U2 themselves!
This event guarantees a fun, unforgettable musical performance you won’t want to miss! There will be food truck vendors on site, however attendees are welcome to bring low back chairs, blankets, food, and non-alcoholic beverages.
