Have you ever wanted to learn about 3D Printers? Are not quite old enough to be an official Creation Station member? Well now you can be!
On Saturday, December 7th, the Creation Station will assist young Makers, ages 7-13, on how to operate a 3D Printer during a 2-hour time block of time. At the end of 2 hours, they get to take home a 3D print of their own. The young Makers will choose an approved file the MakerSpace staff have selected from our MakerSpace Camp website, or can bring in a small .stl file that can be printed in the time allotted. Once the print has started, the young Maker and parent are welcome to stay in the MakerSpace room for a slide show on different types of 3D Printing and some cool projects that other makers around the globe have made.
There will only be six (6) spots available throughout the day, so in order to register, a parent or guardian must schedule a time spot in person and pay a $5 charge for filament and machine use. They must also complete a city Activity Waiver (liability form). This will reserve your spot for the camp.
There are two time spots available to participate:
Group A: 11 AM – 1 PM
Group B: 3 PM – 5 PM
