Priscila SchmidThe trail round trip is 7 Miles long, I only did a third due to heat. I could say this is a Moderate level trail, if you are uncomfortable with heights this is not for you. There are a lot of loose rocks so trail shoes are a must. Views of the desert mountains and parts of a golf course are spectacular. There is cell phone reception which is good. Parking on the side of the veterans park is $6 , parking on the lake side is free. Dogs not allowed.

JEFFERY COMERWe do not hike the whole trail but you can but it’s very long. We hiked the part going towards the west around a little mountain which is about a two hour hike. We love the La Quinta cove to go hiking there’s so many options and so many places that you can go from easy to strenuous.

Andreas MajewskiWonderful trail (trail system) right at the edge of La Quinta cove. Boo Hoff trail is a stiff trail and “hike a bike” for me in a lot of sections. I really enjoy the loop of lower Boo Hoff and the Bighorn trails as loop for a less epic ride.
