Andy Ɖáwʊɖa WIt's a beautiful place to picnic only about a 5 minute walk from the north edge of La Quinta. There are some beautiful walks around this area, including up on the rock hill that is just west of the picnic area. But you have to be careful because the rocks are loose all over the area, and best access up the little hill is from the north side of the hill. It's also good to note that if you are roaming around the trails up in this area, this Cove Oasis is just about the only place you can find a drinking fountain.

George ScottInteresting picnic area off a desert trail. I liked the structures and shade in the area. I was surprised to find a water system in place at the oasis, but it is probably the only way to insure that plants do well.
