La Quinta is turning 44 this year, and that deserves a celebration for the ages! The city is welcoming the community to Civic Center Campus on Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for an outdoor party filled with plenty of fun for the whole family.
Get ready for interactive activities including an inflatable obstacle course, a toddler-friendly carnival playhouse, a basketball shoot out and bounce houses. Fuel up for the action with free refreshments, including hot dogs, churros, snow cones and more.

If you’re looking to keep the good times going, the La Quinta Youth Collective is hosting a dog adoption event in partnership with Riverside Community Animal Services. The adoption event is part of their community project and will focus on helping larger dogs, who typically have longer shelter stays and lower adoption rates, find their forever homes. If you are interested in dog adoption, please bring valid photo identification (driver’s license or state/country ID).
