Located at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains, this easy 1.8-mile trail is mostly flat, offering picnic tables, benches, water stations, and public art. Lake Cahuilla Veterans Regional Park is located right at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains and is a beautiful place to visit for a stroll or afternoon picnic. All dogs must stay on a leash and they cannot swim in the water. However, there is plenty of space around the 135-acre lake for you and your pup to explore. This local favorite in Old Town La Quinta is a hot spot for Craft American cuisine using local farm-to-table ingredients, refreshing craft cocktails, and a well-balanced selection of hops and rotating craft taps for an amazing happy hour.
