I have been going to Manny for cut and color for several years while I’m in La Quinta and he is always on point. My primary home is LA so I don’t see him on a regular basis. This past weekend he did my hair for an event and it was the best blowout ever! Manny I love you and thank you for making my hair look fabulous!

I visited this salon yesterday while on holiday in Palm Desert from the UK. My usual salon in England is an Aveda salon which is why I chose here for a regrowth colour. I was booked in with Manny who was fabulous. He listened to what I wanted and even though he could have taken more money by putting in extra highlights that I suggested, he was honest and said I absolutely didn’t need them as my hair had a natural balayage.. He was friendly and so professional and my hair looked amazing afterwards. Also a special shout out to Brodie who also looked after me and was so friendly and knowledgeable. Fabulous salon and I will definitely return when I’m back in Palm Desert.

This salon is excellent- especially Manny, who has been working with me for years, helping me manage my alopecia. Each time I get my hair done, I feel a new burst of confidence. Manny is the best. Color, cut, personality.

Best Manicure / Pedicure I am very fuzzy about sanitation and my cuticles being groomed, trimmed and well managed. Amazing service, highly recommended to anyone. Bridgette is amazing and thank you for joining the team at Alankara at their La Quinta location.

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair colored and cut by Manny at Alankara, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From the moment I stepped into the salon, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Manny took the time to listen to my ideas and concerns, offering valuable suggestions that showcased his expertise. The color turned out exactly as I envisioned—vibrant and natural-looking. The technique he used was impressive and truly brought my hair to life. As for the cut, Manny executed it flawlessly. He skillfully blended layers that added volume and movement, giving me a fresh and modern look. I appreciated his attention to detail and the way he ensured everything was perfect before I left. If you’re looking for a talented hairstylist who is attentive and knowledgeable, I highly recommend Manny. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!
