This restaurant was a delightful surprise. We were in the area while waiting for our car to charge and decided to stop in for lunch. The food was fresh, well seasoned, and tasted much more authentic than I had anticipated. Everything was flavorful. I had the birria tacos, and my husband had the enchiladas. We both really enjoyed our meals. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

An incredible experience and exceptional service once again. We visited with friends, and they absolutely adored the food. As first-time guests, we were amazed by both the food and the service. Our family had a wonderful time, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. We also fell in love with the artwork.

For a restaurant called La Casa del Mariachi, I expected a larger selection of traditional Mexican dishes. My family and I stopped by for a quick bite and were warmly greeted as soon as we arrived, which made for a great first impression. We ordered waters and a soda, but unfortunately both had a noticeable taste, almost like a hose or as if the beverage machines hadn’t been cleaned in a while. If you’ve ever experienced that taste, you know exactly what I mean. We decided to play it safe and ordered bottled drinks instead. When our food arrived, the presentation was really nice. My family ordered enchiladas and a ceviche tostada that was decorated with a spicy sauce, which looked beautiful. However, my mom had specifically asked if her dish was spicy because she doesn’t eat spicy food, so it was disappointing that it still came with the spicy sauce. I ordered the Tacos Gobernador. They weren’t what I expected, they reminded me more of shrimp in a creamy vodka-style sauce than traditional Tacos Gobernador, but they actually tasted good. I genuinely tried to put the drink issue behind me and just enjoy the meal. What ultimately prompted me to write this review was that the sauce inside my tacos was served extremely hot. There was no warning that it was steaming hot, and when I took my first bite, it severely burned my tongue. I wasn’t able to enjoy the rest of my meal, and three days later I’m still dealing with the burn. Overall, I expected more from this restaurant. The service was friendly and the presentation was nice, but between the drink issue, the lack of attention to my mom’s request, and the burn from my meal, the experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

The waitress Betty was nice and on point with service.She was attentive and brought our food and drinks rather quickly. The mariachi was playing and interacted with the customers. I liked the open patio.
