Wow! This quaint little café is packed with ambience and phenomenal food. The service staff are kind, generous, helpful, and let’s not forget about the kitchen staff coming out to check on the needs of the people that are eating. The food is different from food that I’ve eaten in any other café around La Quinta or Indio. Thank you for a pleasurable breakfast!

We rented a house in La Quinta for July and feel so lucky we found Beautiful Day! It's right across from where we were staying, making it the easiest breakfast decision for our group every weekend. The menu has a great variety of options, the food is consistently delicious, and the portions are generous. Bonus: each dish is able to be made vegan and gluten free, if needed. What really stands out, though, is the service. It feels like a true family-run business based on the warm, personal greetings and genuine hospitality we received every time we visited. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd want in the desert - bright, colorful, and effortlessly Palm Springs, complete with an adorable, vibrant bar. We even happened to be there during their one-year anniversary celebration, when they had festive decorations throughout the restaurant and were handing out complimentary brownies, which was such a fun touch. The only thing worth mentioning - and this is completely outside the restaurant's control - is that they aren't able to serve espresso drinks because there's a Starbucks in the shopping center. They have cold brew and plenty of other delicious drinks. I order the chai latte every time because it was that good - I only wish it came in a larger size! If you're craving an espresso-based drink, grab one from Starbucks beforehand, and Beautiful Day is perfectly happy for you to bring it inside. Overall, I can't recommend Beautiful Day enough. Great food, welcoming service, fun atmosphere, and a place we'll absolutely return to every time we're in La Quinta.

Brian, the owner, is not only incredibly sweet and welcoming, but also deeply knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He takes time to talk to guests, share insights about the food, and make sure everyone feels genuinely cared for. The food? Absolutely outstanding. You can taste the quality and intention in every bite—from the ingredients to the preparation, everything is done with thought and love. Whether you’re in the mood for a clean, healthy meal or something more indulgent (or both, like I was!), this spot hits the mark. The decor and ambiance are also just so cute—warm, inviting, and full of charm. It’s the kind of place you want to linger in, whether you’re catching up with a friend or just treating yourself to something special. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a reflection of someone who truly loves what they do, and it shows in every detail. Can’t recommend it enough.

For being a small and quaint restaurant the food was really good! We got the smash burgers with different add ons and the fingerling potatoes side wow! It was great! We also ordered a kids meal for my friends son and the waffle was yummy. I ordered the mermaid matcha and it was OK. Service was great very accommodating as we had made a reservation for outside and then moved inside. Thank you for that we definitely liked the ambiance and we are not from the east side of the Coachella Valley to say we will definitely be back but we will try.
